The Black Mage Pelto was said to be the best among the High Road’s Sages.

It was in ‘past tense’ because he went crazy.

The word rang a bell in my mind.

When I entered the academy, I saw a magic circle with ‘Agares’ written on it. However, I couldn’t use it nor absorb it.

The reason became clear in Hynax’s subsequent explanation.

“Agares is currently sealed in the Saintess’ body.”

So that was what happened.

It made sense. Perhaps, I could not absorb magic that was possessed or sealed in other people’s bodies.
